Counseling Ministry

Within our community, the counseling ministry serves as a sanctuary of solace, support, and personal growth. We understand that life's challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, and seeking guidance and encouragement is crucial to navigating through difficult times. Our compassionate counselors provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns.

Currently, 23 individuals are undergoing counseling at UHSC, embarking on a transformative journey toward healing, self-discovery, and personal empowerment. Through evidence-based approaches and a person-centered approach, our counselors employ a range of therapeutic techniques to address a variety of issues, including stress, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Each counseling session is tailored to the unique needs of the individual, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.

In addition to individual counseling, we also recognize the importance of spiritual well-being. To cater to this aspect of our community's needs, we offer spiritual counseling sessions every Tuesday at Cornell Park from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., just opposite our office. These sessions provide an opportunity for individuals to explore matters of faith, find inner strength, and seek guidance from a spiritual perspective.
